After 4 yrs of long waiting,the 1st match of this WC has finally finished with Germany being the winners and Costa Rica unfortunately lost.Germany had a good start and scored through Lahm i think.
However,Paulo Wanchope,the ex-derdy,westham and man city player,scored the equaliser just after 6 minutes of Lahm's goal.The atmosphere of the stadium wasnt as explosive as i expected but it was very beautiful.
Germany then scored another 2 goals through their marksman,Miroslav Klose,who was turning 28 on the day itself.But Klinsmen subsituted him for another Neuville when Paulo Wanchope scored again after timing his run to avoid the offside trap and faked Lehmann.
I almost fell aslept due to the 'boringness' of the match as it wasnt even like a World Cup opening match.Even S-League matches are nicer o.OThen, in the dieing moments of the game,Frings scored a cracker from 35yards out and that was probabaly the GOAL of the World Cup.
Lastly,during the match i viewed on channel 27 & 28. They showed the same game but with different views. Channel 27 is the basic view we are used to already and channel 28's view completely sucked.It was the sky-view and u couldnt even see the ball..
Later at 3am,there is a match. Poland Vs Ecuador.However i dont think im watching it as i have a bbq @ sentosa tmrw and im meeting my friends @ 12pm sharp.I may watch the match depending on my energy bar <->. Yeah 1 bar left but i'll try to watch and update you guys.Tata.
