After 10 long years...Jun He has finally done his homework, his chinese compo!

Fine fine cut the crap...Italy qualifed to the quaterfinals after beating the Socceroos 1-0 with a last-minute penalty from Francesco Totti. The Italians were down to 10 men after Inter-Milan centre-back ,Materazzi, was sent off after a tackle on some Australian dude.

The Italians could not attack with 10 men and had only 41% of possesion at the end of the match due to fatigue. The match seemed like going for extra-time WHEN Fabio Grosso, dived! After dribbling into the Australian penalty box, he faked Lucas Neill who slided across infront of him. Grosso then kick the ball to the side and walked over Neill! It was like he delibrately tripped himself by 'walking'over Neill and fell for a penalty.

The Australians' hearts were definately broken as they controled the match and had many chances. They were the better team on the pitch in the 94 minutes but lost to a contraverial penalty.

Tonight champions Brazil will face Ghana @ 11pm. If you think it'll be a thrashing then think again. Ghana is a very stable side with a very strong midfield with Stephen Appiah etc. Michael Essien is unfortunately suspended for this match.

Brazil will take alot to break down the fit and composed Ghanians.
Final score : Brazil 2-1 Ghana,Half time 0-1.
Player to watch:Ronaldinho

The big match of the day is France Vs Spain.
France are the underdogs for today with a team averaging 28-29 years old.
They are one of the oldest team in this World Cup and even with Thierry Henry who misfires when playing for country,i do not think they can overcome Spain with the best midfield in this World Cup.

Their passes and creativity are no doubt the best in this World Cup with players like Febregas,Alonso,Xavi.I think out of 100 through balls, at least 90 will go through as Spain players are know for their technique, presicion and accuracy.

Final score: Spain 2-0 France,Half time 1-0.
Player to watch: David Villa
