Liverpool lost 3-2 to FC Kaiserlautern in Switzerland in a friendly match yesterday.
Rafa played the team to give many a work out and had no intention of winning. Both teams were relaxed and no hard challenges or what happened. Kaiserlautern led 1st in the 2nd half after a dissapointing 0-0 draw in the 1st half.
Then, Liverpool equalised after some neat dribbling from subsitute Luis Garcia who drew many defenders to him before setting up new boy Bellamy for the goal. Then Pennant too showed that he is worth 6.7mil with a beautiful 1-2 with Bellamy before assisting Luis Garcia to an easy tap in.
There were many interesting parts to the game like Fowler coming out of the field as a subsitute and was allowed to go back into the game. And, Liverpool 1st choice keeper played as a midfielder! He nearly scored in the penalty box with a long shot but unfortunately curled away from the goal post. Kaiserlautern played seriously and scored 2 in the late minutes to secure the win for them. Garcia and Aurelio was injured during the game after taking a few knocks.
