Rafa is to be blamed as well. Yes, he brought us the CL and blahblehblee. But his humjiness has costed costs us yet again.
He takes off Kuyt instead of Bellamy who did not make any impact and he kept Pennant in the game till later parts of the game. In my opinion, Pennant is a flop. He isnt the Pennant of Birmingham. He is weak, a bad reader of the game, doesnt make runs, stays at the right flank and 'afks' there for the game. Anyway, RB should make bold decisions like playing a 4-3-3 or 3-4-3 and bringing on a striker for a defender is alright! And i have noticed that RB doesnt make subsitutions until the 60th minute even when we're losing and need people like Gerrard and co. However he made a subsitution amazingly at 49th minute this time but we still lost anyway. Campo's second goal was crap after Risse's gungho-ness costed us yet again. Gerrard was quiet throughout and Alonso still hasnt gained back his form. Boy oh boy where is my Liverpool of the past.
Reina-6.5
Should train for another kind of kick as this kind of risky kicks near the edge would cost him and it did today.
Finnan-7.5
Did well defending and went infront to help sometimes.
Carragher-8
Defended well from bolton's lomg throw-ins and was composed.
Hyypia-8
Also defended well with his aerial presence and commanded well.
Riise-6.5
What did he do? Cost us a goal and he did not help as a support for Gerrard upfront. Blasted shots too.
Pennant-0
HAHA perhaps 5 or what but he sucks. Weak, doesnt get back to help nor make runs for teamates. However he showed his brilliance with his quick feet and fakes sometimes.
Alonso-6.5
Another Riise. Tried shots all the time. From corners and stuff. Had a great shot blocked by the post but failed to keep ball when we most needed and lost the ball very easily in the last 10 minutes.
Sissoko-7
Had a hard time dealing with Campo as both tried to battle for midfield. Unfortunately we lost the battle but he did run and make some fine challenges.
Gerrard-7.5
Was quiet at the left flank and did not command the team well. He did make runs up front and charged foward wheneer he could.
Kuyt-7
Had a great header saved, composed and came back after his freak injury. He did not wash his hair lol and had half his head red and the other blonde.
Bellamy-6
Caught offside all the time. Yes he is fast and agile but he hasnt showed his form just like Pennant and Alonso. A striker needs someone to feed him and putting Gerrard at the left doesnt.
Crouch-6.5
Won us quite a few headers but did not make an impact.
Garcia-7
Had some runs and crossed a few.
