I went back to school early morning at around 8am, after chatting with Mr Koh and tumbling all over the bed.
I couldnt fall asleep. Many things were going through my mind. Why did i enter combined? Why did people who did badly than me get into my desired subject.
No one knows. Thank you for the support and trust you people gave me. People who tried to help. Ms Tan, Mdm Aw, Cheryl and Guang Fu to name a few. So after meeting Jacob and gang for breakfast. We went to look for Mdm Wong.
She looks fierce, very. And so we looked for her in the HOD room. She wasnt there. And then we went to the GO to leave a message for her. And as it was fated, she came out when we were just leaving.
So we had some conversation. She was pissed with us and asking her to amend the class allocation was almsot impossible. She had to sort out the classes, the number of people, the scholars, the electives.
And she told me, reasonably, that i couldnt get in cause my maths was bullshit. Not the exact words that wsa the exact meaning. I failed maths, f9 indeed. But she said the criteria of getting a sucessful application was to not get F9 and double weightage for Science, Maths and English were taken into consideration.
Okay my maths sucks. But my English and Science aint that bad isnt it.
And how could Javier get into C instead of me? I am VERY VERY sure that i scored better than him in EVERY aspect. But she insisted that he made it cause he did better? Omg wtf?
So as i said yesterday, perhaps you can get A1 for English, Maths and Science and fail all but get into the combination C. So what is Geog? History? Literature? What the hell?
But she wouldnt check the results and compare. Okay its reasonable, its confidential.
But but, didnt they say it was double weightage for the 3 subjects mentioned?
So even if i lost to him in maths, which he had confirmed failed as well. My maths and Science would definately give me advantage over him by 10 bazillion places.
But she said if you get f9 for maths, thats it.
Holy crap. So your telling me that if i get A for every subject and if i fail maths and poof thats it?
And Jacob's unreasonable appealed was taken into consideration. He was posted into C1. He appealed to B1 due to peer pressure. He got into it. And then now he wants to get back into c1. Okay isnt this a joke or what?
His pathetic reason and whatever was taken into consideration while all my efforts(though i didnt put in any) were wasted?
So okay, i'll ace my friggin maths next year and science as well. I will fail my other subjects and see what random reasons they give me again. They were contradicting. But as you know, the teachers are always right.
So i've decided to give up. Though my only hope is to prove that my results won Javier's by a truck. But its impossible, he hasnt even seen his report book as he went overseas.
But many of us saw it in the class then. And Mdm Wong wouldnt check the cockpit. What can i do. I was thinking of talking to Mrs Poh but i guess, this is all too much.
So whats the big deal of not getting into your desired subject. This is life and the basic rule of it is that life isnt fair, always.
Okay i can do well in combined too aye? You people read this. People in the combined science class aint the worst of all as i know of a 2/1 girl who went into this class as well. Jean i think?
Ok lets put everything behind and from now ons i shall lead a new life.
P.S you guys think i've gone too much?
