Dead blog, think this is the first time i havent posted in such a long time. Or maybe not. Alright i shall blog bout' Saturday.
Met Ladylala and her family outside KFC at 2pm, was a lil late though i rushed there. Took 13 to Kallang mrt, was alomost an hour of bus ride. We met lala's bf, her dad bought everyone drinks and we took bus 11 to the stadium.
Lala being the kiasu one, insisted that we go in there early only to baked by the Sun for an hour and half. She even brought her kangaroo she bought from Australia, putting on the Australia's jersey for him?/it?
Her tutee brought a few friends along, he was very very very very very very random, and irritating, and noisy but funny :O
The malaysian ex international played our ex international and the match was hilarious as many of them wasnt able to run anymore. Think only Sundramoothy was fit on the pitch. The match ended in a 1-1 draw and the kids went to get food for us. Many people joined us later, lala's manure friend, Daryl and friends and Andy from the forum joined us too. Was a big crowd of a lil more than 10 i reckon.
Lighting of the cauldron was superb as the athletes ran up the stairs with a torch before lighting the whole thing up. Singapore played Australia and we had quite a few reasonable chances only to squander it all. The indian uncle who brough along his children was very funny and agitated during the whole match. Cursing the referee nbccb etc whenever a decision went against us. Lala's tutee said the referee handsome lol. (Very funny if you understand, typical matiin's jokes)
The game ended at 940pm and we stayed on for the closing ceremony when i took a really good picture of the fireworks. Was kinda difficult to get a shot as they always end so fast. We left the national stadium for the last time, before taking 853 and i cabbed home.
