Movie Marathon was quite a success yesterday as many came and the movies were awesome!
The M.M started quite badly though after Wei Lun and his gang of people confronted Andre because he had disallowed them to enter the school because they were wearing non-school clothes. They eventually spit on him and Andre erupted. However he managed to keep his cool, something which i thought is very difficult.
My girlfriends were numbered yesterday from 1 to 57.33 (some random number) and i think Effa was 6.. Cheryl was 11.. Lynette as 4 and stuff like that. The first movie, 'Daddy Day Care' was such a bore and many went into 3/9 for food and cards.
As M.M continued, we were treated to some great movies like 'Alone', 'Goal 2', 'The Maid' and stuff like that. Lynette and Aneesh kept taking advantage of me, Lynette especially as they kept on lying on me (acting that they were asleep :O)
We were eventually lethargic and soccer was not allowed during this year's M.M Thus we just shuffled between 3/9 and the avt. I got too sleepy later and took advantage of Lynette HAHA (jk) and the other girlfriends got jealous! ._.?!
'Night In The Museum' and 'Mean Girls' were the last few movies. Oh yes there was 'Secret' by Jay Chou too. Damn it was kinda tough to understand the plot and i kept pestering people around me. Lynette particularly got very fustrated and refused to talk to me D: But i somehow managed to get it and i thought that Rain died as she appeared green on the screen.
When M.M ended, many streamed out and headed for lunch. We didn't though as sleep was more important and i hurried home and slept from ten to one thirty before meeting the soccer players in J8 at 3pm. Had a late lunch with Randy, GF and Prav and we trained all the way to Dover and discussed tactics on the way.
When we reached SP, we were amazed at the size of the school and soon later the remaining team members arrived. SP had KFC, Pizza Hut, 7-11 and many more other shops like that.
The field we were supposed to play in was occupied and thus we headed down to play street soccer for a brief moment before playing at SP's stadium. The pitch was awesome, the team however wasn't.
The match ended prematurely as visibility was almost zero but we won 3-1. Thanks to Praveen who score two and GF who scored one. Randy conceded a really dumb goal though.
Cabbed with Praveen and Randy back to YCK and the uncle wanted to scam us as he offered us a $20 cab fare instead of going by the meter rate. He even went to some traffic jammed places and even so, the eventual cab fare came up to only sixteen bucks.
Caught Liverpool against Everton, Mersyside derby, 20 mins late and we won 1-2 after a dramatic comeack.
Shall get going now, catching F1's qualifying session and perhaps Rugby World Cup Final at 2?
