Hello everybody i shalln't blog about my birthday anymore since i've more, newer things to blog about!
So today, i went to have the FAMOUS :O dou hua (The Rocher Dou Hua!) and indeed, it's the most wonderful dou hua i've ever had in my life. Then, i also experienced the sensation of the nicest you tiao melting in my mouth as i chewed it yum yum! (<- sounds himbotic :S)
Lady and i walked via Bugis street, where we got some fantastic fruit juice (my favourite beverage now) for only a dollar per cup, to the flea market along Pitt St. which resides Brat pitt i heard!
Rows and rows of peddlers set up their 'booths' by laying a simple mat and displaying their wares which were going at prices you couldn't believe! Then there was this shoe shop which had a NEW F5 Adidas boots but i didn't enquire for the price since i've for to save from now on :(
Oh and i gave up the idea of buying the dream windmill i've been wanting all the time but then again i had to save so....... :(
I took a bus with Lady, with Lady's heavy bag (HAHA), to Bras Brasah Complex where i experienced, yet again, something for the first time!
Books there were going for a dollar each and i bought a _, a political book by Nixon which i doubt i'll finish and an autobiography by a one-year old (not written by a one-year old la!). We then headed to the National Library situated just a metre away where we took the escalator to very high up to enjoy the scenery before descending to read some magazines and papers before Lady got tired.
Sent Lady to her train station before taking bus back home. Was supposed to sleep but ended up trying the PS2 games i bought at the flea market :D
So i guess today was very fruitful, right Lady!
